Who we are

TofinoTV is operated by Cameron Dennison through Tuff City Radio in Tofino, British Columbia, Canada. We operate a live webcam network and audio hub at tofinotv.com.

What we collect

We collect only what you give us directly:

• Email address — when you sign up for storm, sunset, or whale alerts through our Alerts page.
• Contact form submissions — name, business name, email, and message when you inquire about sponsorship through our About page.
• Basic analytics — page views and general traffic data. We do not use tracking cookies or cross-site advertising pixels.

How we use it

• To send the alert types you subscribed to (storm fronts, rare sunsets, whale sightings).
• To respond to sponsorship inquiries.
• To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Email alerts and CASL

Our alert emails are sent only with your express consent, in compliance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every email we send includes a clear unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe from individual alert types or all emails at any time.

We use Mailchimp to manage and deliver email alerts. Your email address is stored on Mailchimp's servers. Mailchimp's privacy policy is available at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.

Third-party content

TofinoTV embeds live video streams from YouTube. When you watch a stream, YouTube may collect data according to their own privacy policy. Some camera feeds on this site are operated by third-party lodges and resorts; TofinoTV is not responsible for their data practices.

Your rights
